FOTOBLECH - Software licenses
What does the software do? The FOTOBLECH software converts any image into specialized perforated sheet patterns with varying hole sizes.
The algorithm is a patented proprietary development and optimized specifically for the capabilities of punching machines.
In addition, there are over 40 pattern generators that create individual patterns.
With our method, more information can be represented per unit area than usual, making the images more recognizable. The software is constantly being expanded and offered in various versions.
Do you only offer the software or do I also get finished sheets? We offer both. Depending on your needs, we can provide the software, the conversion service, or the finished punched perforated sheets.
What do I need to run the software? The software runs on the cloud, which means that no installation or special requirements are needed except for Internet access. It is easy to use and self-explanatory, so you can start your project immediately.

Our patented process
Lunova GmbH has held the FOTOBLECH patent since 2013. It allows for much more information to be transmitted per unit area than would otherwise be possible. This enables finer structures, finer gradations, and better display quality.
The acquisition of a FOTOBLECH software license includes the right to use this patent.

PDF A4. A format for preview including information on free area and hole density as well as adjustable foreground and background colors. All licenses.
DXF. Vector format. Only with architect and manufacturer license.

Compressed. With our Fotoblech software, you now have the ability to collect and compress all of your output files into a single Zip archive.
This means that you no longer have to save each file individually, but rather have all important files summarized in an archive. This function saves time and significantly simplifies your work processes.

FOTOBLECH Software: Combination potential with cost savings
Standards. The 'Standard' function for the Fotoblech software allows you to adjust the distances between the rows and columns of your Fotoblech to those of standard perforated sheets.
This opens up the possibility of combining your Fotoblech with regular perforated sheets in a project and thereby saving costs.
By adjusting the row and column distances, you can now use multiple stamps and ensure a more efficient production of your Fotoblech. Available in the Manufacturer license.
FOTOBLECH Software: Variant Generator
Runs. With Fotoblech software, patterns are created using algorithms that make each sheet unique.
Our random generators provide an endless variety of variations that perfectly suit your needs.
The "Runs" feature allows you to automatically generate any number of different versions of a sheet. With this new feature, we can now create a large number of sheets in no time without sacrificing quality or uniqueness.
Now available in the "Manufacturer" license.
DXF - example file
Here you can use the example of the "Grid 1" pattern generator to download both a DXF sample file and a typical photo sheet PDF preview for test purposes. (4-8mm holes)

The programme runs entirely in the cloud.
If there is a newer programme version, it will be installed automatically without download or install it again.

The FOTOBLECH toolset
The software typically generates holes in equal increments, often in whole or half a millimeter, between the smallest and largest possible diameter.
If a certain diameter is not available in production, this can be taken into account by defining a toolset. That means: Less investment in certain dies.

Function: Selective probabilities
Dynamically controlled perforation probability
If needed, we can control the probability of punching a hole or not depending on the potential hole size.
Small holes tend not to be punched. Large holes are more likely.
This results in a reduction of the number of punched holes by approx. 50% with a high contrast of the image at the same time.
Function: Dynamic Jitter
With the jitter function we let the holes dance.
Now even more dynamic: The maximum degrees of freedom are calculated for each individual hole and then the position is changed at random. Of course without the holes intersecting.
In the example on the left you can see in combination with the possibility of setting the hole spacing differently horizontally and vertically. This results in a nice line pattern.
With certain hole diameters, there is a risk that children can get stuck in it with their fingers.
Wherever children's hands come near the perforated plates, our software should do so with the "finger protection" function certain hole diameters are excluded and converted into harmless hole diameters.
More efficient punching
Due to the special conversion algorithm all images are stamped with a minimum set of punches. That enables us to punch motifs efficiently and without conversion.
